Leaving the charm of women, they do not delight in the home.
Like a swan abandoning a pond, they renounce any home or habitation.

Nor hoarding, understanding the true value of nutrition.
Whatever freedom they partake of is empty and without any sign.
Like a bird flying through the air, the destiny they have cannot be traced.

With effluents exhausted, and not dependent upon food.

With senses arrived at peace, like a coachman's tamed stead.
With their conceit eliminated and passionless, divine beings adore them.

One who is not hostile, like the earth – the pillar of the king of the gods – has virtuous qualities.
As a like without mire, for them there is no more rebirths with such qualities.

Those who are of peaceful mind, speech and action,
They through qualities of upright understanding, and composure are released.

Whoever severs their personal connections and without blind faith yet tries to know the uncreated.
With grasping for things removed, they are the greatest of beings.
98.
In a village or forest, valley, or be it a hill.
Wherever the Arahants spend their time is a delightful place.
99.
The forest is delightful where ordinary people don't find delight.
those who delight without passion, do not search for lustful pleasures.
