Pride is a devious hindrance. It can go unnoticed for a long time.
Ask yourself these questions, as I have been.
Do I consider my own actions, speech, and thoughts better than another's? And, why?
We need to see what it is that we consider better, more adept, than what another has offered. What is it that makes us more worthy of praise and the other worldly conditions that do not apply to another. When we see this we can work at cutting our pride down, by looking at where and how delusion has taken hold. Be it a fallacious idea we hold regarding morality, or in some other way.
