Bālā-paṇḍitā Sutta – The Foolish And Wise – AN2.21

“Mendicants, there are two [types of] fools.
(The mendicants asked) What are the two?
One whom does not see a fault as a fault,
and the other does not accept the confession of a fault according to the Teaching.
Mendicants, these are two [types of] fools”

“Mendicants, there are two [types of] wise one's.
(The mendicants asked) What are the two?
One whom does see a fault as a fault,
and the other does accept the confession of a fault according to the Teaching.
Mendicants, these are the two [types of] wise one's.”
