(Dhammapada)  Lokavaggo – The Group On The World – DhpV.167-178 (KN 2.13)

167.
Do not associate with degenerate teachings, nor be heedless.
Do not make use of dissonant views, nor indulge in worldly things

168.
Get up! Do not become negligent; practice the teachings for full-developed teaching.
Those living the way of truth are happy, within this world and the next.
169.
Practise the truth to full development; do not practice for non-development.
Those living the way of truth are happy, within this world and the next.

170.
Look at the world just like a bubble, like a mirage.
Seeing the world in this way, the king of death will not find you.

171.
Come! Observe this world, like a beautiful royal chariot.
Here fools find displeasure, and the ones who understand are not attached.

172.
Whoever in the past was negligent, and afterwards they are not negligent.
They illuminate the world, like the moon freed from the cloud.
173.
Whatever intention is acted upon in an unskilled way, then obscured by skilfulness.
They illuminate the world, like the moon freed from the cloud.

174.
In the world many are blind, only few see clearly.
Only few go to heaven, like a bird free from their snare.

175.
Swans travel the suns path, others travel through space through their supernormal power.
The wise are led away from the world, having defeated the armies of death.

176.
Those who speak falsely to others, violate the path of truth each time.
Having rejected the next world, there is no crime they could not do.

177.
Those who are not selfish go to a divine world, yet the fools still do not praise generosity.
The Wise find enjoyment in giving, and because of that is happy hereafter.

178.
From sole reign over a country, or going to heaven
Gaining a firm footing on the path surpasses ruling over the entire world.
The thirteenth group on the world has finished.

    Current Projects

    The Dhammapada -
I started this project a little while ago, although it was mainly Gathas used in chanting, or for Calligraphy Projects.

Apart from these I have finished the first 15 chapters. Updates with translations being done both in general and specific projects will be shared on the calendar.
