Mendicants, whenever a weak and unwell meditator abides with these five objects of dhamma, this can be expected - before long they will enter and remain with a mind set free from passions, released through discernment, having realised the dhamma for themselves, having understood due to direct experience of calming in the here and now.
The Mendicants asked what are the five objects of dhamma?
Mendicants, here a meditator abides contemplating the unpleasantness of the body, the perception of foulness regarding food, the disappointment of all worldly perceptions, contemplates uncertainty regarding all fabrications of the mind, and the perception of their own death is continuously maintained.
