Like giant boulders, mountains pressing against the sky, moving inward from all sides, crushing from all four directions.
So to does aging and death come rolling over living beings, noble warriors, priests, merchants, workers, outcastes, & scavengers, they are spared nothing, trampled is everything.
Here troops of elephants can hold no ground, neither can chariots, or infantry, not even a battle of wits or wealth win anything.
So a wise person, seeing his own good, steadfast and secure in confidence toward the Buddha, Dhamma, & Sangha.
One who practices the Dhamma through body, speech, & mind, receives praise here on earth and after death celebrates in heaven.
